Intellectica is recruiting an experienced Project Manager on behalf of an internationally recognized Group of Companies present in the Aerospace, Defense, Security and High Technology markets. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting directly to the Head of Global Industrial Operations, the successful candidate will play a key role in leading project planning, execution, and oversight, ensuring timely delivery of objectives, managing risks, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining compliance with contractual obligations and best practices.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Establishing the project brief, setting clear expectations regarding deliverables, plans, timelines, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Designing comprehensive project management plans, outlining schedules, deliverables, budgets, resource allocation and risk management strategies
• Aligning with key stakeholders to confirm task priorities and allocating team members accordingly
• Acting as the primary liaison with operating units, teams, and functions, ensuring regular progress reports and updates are communicated to stakeholders
• Working closely with management to refine project strategies, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business goals
• Developing, maintaining, and updating comprehensive project documentation
• Regularly reviewing project plans and activities to ensure adherence to the established timeline and goals
• Overseeing the day-to-day execution of projects, ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently using the appropriate tools
• Evaluating the performance of project teams, providing feedback and reports to higher management
• Collaborating with QA to update business processes and maintain best practices
• Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks and issues, engaging team members to initiate corrective or preventive actions as necessary
• Overseeing the prototyping process, monitoring consumption levels of components/consumables and coordinating timely replenishment, ensuring adequacy of stock
• Any other task that may required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Master’s degree or an MBA will be considered a plus
• PMP, PMI, Lean Six Sigma or other relevant project management certification is considered a plus
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in an industrial environment
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders
• Strong financial and technology acumen
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, and MS Project
• Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal)
• Availability to travel, if required (no major requirement)
