Intellectica is seeking a highly motivated Area Sales Representative (B2B) on behalf of a leading company specializing in the supply of reliable and comprehensive electrical equipment, meeting the diverse needs of electrical installers, technical companies, and individual consumers. Awarded Best Workplace, the company has become one of the most dynamic players in Greece’s electrical supplies sector, with over 30 stores nationwide. Based in Athens, Attiki, Greece, the successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager. The candidate’s primary responsibilities include understanding client needs and promoting the company’s products, ultimately contributing to the company’s overall growth.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Overseeing the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring efficient and professional client experience
- Developing and implementing sales strategies, monitoring performance against set targets on matters relating to prospecting, sales progress, and closed deals
- Building and expanding the client base within the assigned region through market visits and in-store engagements
- Travelling regularly within the area of responsibility to establish and maintain strong relationships of trust with clients, understanding their unique needs and preferences
- Presenting the company’s range of products, highlighting their competitive advantages and technical features, creating tailored proposals and quotations that address client-specific requirements, and negotiating deals to closure
- Cooperating with sales support and other teams to meet sales targets
- Staying abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and electrical equipment innovations
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Relevant certifications in sales methodologies or techniques will be considered an advantage
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Sales, preferably within a B2B environment; previous experience in electrical sector is a plus
- A solid understanding of product specifications and technical details
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Fluent in both English and Greek
- Valid driver’s license
