Intellectica is recruiting an experienced Sales Director on behalf of a SaaS Facility Management company. The company provides a sustainability management platform for the continuous improvement and reporting of energy and environmental-related key performance indicators. Based in Athens, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the company’s sales department and driving growth across export markets. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Sales Director will play a key role in the company’s overall success.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Devising the company’s sales strategy and coordinating the Sales team in order to ensure that the Company’s product / service is appropriately demonstrated throughout the customer prospecting process
  • Tasked with researching, prospecting and qualifying leads before enabling the Company’s sales mechanisms to further develop
  • Managing key customers’ accounts and handling prospect objections
  • Taking deals across the finish line, performing as a results-oriented sales representative
  • Approving quotations that are sent to prospective clients by the Sales team for the implementation of pilot projects customized to their business needs
  • Analyzing RFPs from public and private organizations, understanding the requirements and driving the team to create and submit the best possible proposal

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or any other Economics-related subject
  • At least 7 years of experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Energy/facility management industry knowledge is considered a plus
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products / services and position them against competitors
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Track record of results in strategy, management, and execution
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
  • Fluent in Greek and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally across the EMEA region
