Senior Associate – Corporate Law

Intellectica is recruiting an experienced Senior Associate on behalf of a dynamically growing boutique Law Firm. Based in Athens, the Senior Associate is expected to have a strong understanding of corporate law and possess excellent analytical, communication as well as interpersonal skills and will work closely with clients and colleagues to provide legal advice.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Preparing and reviewing all legal and corporate documentation (including agreements and contracts of a wide range of corporate law subject matters, decisions of the companies’ constitutional bodies etc)
• Conducting due diligence on legal entities of all types
• Providing guidance and support on general legal issues that arise in respect of corporate clients
• Reviewing work prepared by junior associates of the Law Firm
• Managing client expectations, anticipating clients’ needs and providing advice
• Undertaking the responsibility of handling a board range of legal matters

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Master of Laws (LL.M) in related fields
• 5+ years’ professional experience in corporate and commercial law, company law, banking and finance
• Communication and negotiation skills. Ability to explain difficult issues with clarity
• Experienced in dealing with complex legal issues with significant financial impact
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team environment
• Comfortable with MS office and related tools
• Fluent in English and Greek. Ability to draft contracts and commercial agreements
