(hereinafter referred to as “Intellectica”, “Firm”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), in compliance with applicable national and European legislation on data protection, hereby informs, in its capacity as a data controller, with respect to the collection, processing and storage of data subjects’ personal data.

This privacy statement explains what information we gather about you, what we use that information for, how long we keep that information and who we may share that information with. Intellectica collects any information you provide to us when you use any of the website’s contact forms or newsletter fields, such as, but not limited to, name, surname, email address, telephone number, company name, job title, work and/or home address as well as any CV or Cover Letter files or any other attachments you might have submitted through the forms and any information you have shared through the “message box” of the contact forms. If you contact us, we will keep a record of that correspondence.

We do not usually seek to collect sensitive personal information (i.e., data relating to race or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union memberships, political opinions, medical or health conditions or information specifying the sex life or sexual orientation of an individual) from users. (b) Processing of your information is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (art. 6 par. 1b GDPR), such as when Intellectica forwards your personal data to potential employers for the purposes of recruitment.

(c) Our legitimate interests in the effective delivery  or promote of our services to you and in the effective and lawful operation of our business, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, which require protection of personal data (article 6 par. 1f GDPR). Protection of your personal information:

We have in place reasonable commercial standards of technology and operational security to protect all personal information provided by individuals from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Only authorized personnel, including the website administrator, are provided access to personal information.

How long we keep your information for?

We will hold your personal data on our systems for the longest of the following periods: (i) as long as is necessary for the relevant purpose of collection; (ii) any retention period that is required by law; (iii) the end of the period in which litigation or investigations might arise in respect of services provided to you.

Specifically, for data provided by Candidates for the purposes of recruitment or potential recruitment services, they are retained in our database for a maximum of two (2) years. The data might include, but not limited to, Name, Email, Contact Number, Job Position, Country, Sector, Position Type, Message Box text, CVs and Cover Letters as well as any information/data included in them (such as photographs).
