Intellectica is recruiting an experienced People & Culture Manager on behalf of a leading family-owned FMCG Group. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting directly to the Chief Administration Officer, the successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment and implementing effective HR strategies to support the overall business objectives of the Group.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating HR-related policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with the Group’s mission, vision, values, and regulatory requirements
- Creating detailed job descriptions, outlining essential professional and qualitative skills
- Managing and mediating management-employee relations and employee-employee relations by addressing claims, complaints, disputes, or other issues that may arise
- Overseeing the recruitment and selection process, including conducting interviews and making hiring decisions
- Advising and supporting managers and supervisors on staffing, performance management, and employee development
- Implementing performance management systems to drive employee development and engagement
- Managing compensation and benefits programs, including benefits enrollment and performance-based incentives, and recommending possible adjustments
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver HR training programs
- Coordinating and actively participating in the organization of corporate and social responsibility events
- Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, including strict adherence to GDPR
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or related certifications are considered a plus
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar HR managerial position; combined experience from multinational corporations (MNCs) and family businesses is a strong plus
- Excellent knowledge of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits
- In-depth knowledge of Labor & Employment Law
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal)
