Intellectica is recruiting a motivated and dynamic Brand Manager on behalf of a leading FMCG Group. Based in Athens, Greece, the successful candidate will report directly to the Group Brand Manager and will be responsible for the entire spectrum of brand management, including market research, product lifecycle management and strategic development. This role requires strong collaboration with the Marketing team and other departments to define and implement brand strategies, ensuring the effective positioning and performance of the company’s product portfolio in the Greek market.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
Strategic Development:
- Collaborating with the Group Brand Manager and Marketing Manager to propose and refine product positioning and strategies
- Researching and recommending the launch of new profitable products, backed by market data and analysis
- Proposing annual product action plans and budgets, in collaboration with key stakeholders
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyzing the performance, positioning, and distribution of products across the Greek market
- Conducting competitive analysis to stay informed on rival products and market trends
- Monitoring market shares and trends, guiding strategic decisions
- Evaluating product-focused qualitative and quantitative research to recommend improvements for product performance
- Analyzing product data to identify trends, challenges and opportunities
Product Oversight:
- Overseeing product performance across the supply chain, from warehouse to final consumer, by geographic region and customer
- Conducting regular store checks to evaluate the visibility and presentation of products and suggesting corrective actions as needed
Collaboration and Implementation:
- Working closely with the sales and medical information departments to ensure consistent communication and execution of product strategies
- Partnering with advertising agencies, media agencies, and other external collaborators to implement approved plans or projects
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
- Master’s degree in Marketing, MBA and/or related certifications are considered a plus
- At least 2 years’ of experience in a similar role within an FMCG company, preferably in the food service sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
- Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal)
