Intellectica is recruiting a highly motivated Sales Supervisor on behalf of a leading independent freight forwarder in Greece and abroad. The company provides a comprehensive range of services, including full cargo projects, insurance and clearance, and logistics solutions such as storage, picking, and distribution. Based in Aspropyrgos, Attiki, Greece and reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the client base in Southern Greece. The role involves overseeing the sales team’s performance, driving revenue growth, enhancing profitability, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Overseeing the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring efficient and professional client experience
  • Expanding the client base within the assigned region through regular client visits
  • Traveling within Southern Greece to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies, monitoring progress against set targets and addressing areas for improvement
  • Negotiating with new and existing clients to achieve favorable terms and foster long-term partnerships
  • Conducting regular briefings with the management team to address sales-related issues
  • Supporting the creation and execution of the company’s annual business plan, including targeted customer acquisition strategies
  • Analyzing market trends, competitor activities and opportunities for business growth
  • Building trust and collaboration within the team while fostering a high-performance culture
  • Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management will be considered a plus
  • Relevant certifications in sales methodologies or techniques are a strong advantage
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity within the logistics or supply chain sectors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience with ERP and CRM systems
  • Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken)
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically as required
  • Valid driver’s license
