Intellectica is recruiting a Project Management Officer (PMO) on behalf of its client, a fast-scaling technology and digital solutions company serving high-profile clients in the media sector. With a long-term strategic vision and strong leadership at the helm, the company is building a team of expert technologists and digital specialists to support media organisations in transforming their audience engagement, search visibility, and content performance through cutting-edge technology and data-driven marketing.
As part of its foundational team, the company is now hiring a PMO to own and oversee all client-facing and internal projects across the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this pivotal role will establish best-in-class project governance, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure timely and full delivery of initiatives from scope to execution.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Owning end-to-end project delivery across the full lifecycle—from scoping and requirements gathering to QA, deployment, and post-launch evaluation
- Managing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Serving as the central coordination point between technology, delivery, client success, and executive teams to ensure accountability and seamless execution
- Leading regular project reviews, tracking delivery KPIs (performance, timelines, resource use, and risk), and communicating progress updates to stakeholders
- Designing and implementing standardized project management frameworks, tools, and reporting systems across the organization
- Identifying project risks and leading the development of mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and quality
- Supporting client onboarding and proposal development through robust scope definition and delivery planning
- Fostering a culture of delivery excellence and continuous improvement through structured retrospectives, stakeholder feedback, and process enhancements
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Management & Information Technology or a related field
- Master’s degree in Management & Information Technology or a related field, MBA, or professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) are preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project or program management, including oversight of complex digital or technology projects, ideally in media, SaaS, or professional services settings
- Proven success managing simultaneous projects across internal teams and external clients with varying levels of complexity
- Strong familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies and ability to implement hybrid frameworks where appropriate
- Advanced skills in project management platforms such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or MS Project
- Experience in defining and reporting on delivery KPIs and team performance metrics
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders
- Fluency in Greek and proficiency in English, both written and spoken
