Intellectica is seeking a motivated and dynamic Store Network Development Manager on behalf of a rapidly expanding retail chain specializing in convenience goods and take-away coffee. With a strong presence in Northern Greece and ambitious growth plans in Athens, the company is committed to delivering high-quality service and building strong franchise partnerships. Based in Athens, Greece, and reporting to the Athens Regional Lead, the ideal candidate will be responsible for finding, attracting, and evaluating new franchise partners to ensure they align with the company’s vision and smoothly integrate into the network. This role also involves managing franchise-related processes, supporting daily operations, and ensuring the timely execution of new store openings or transfers.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Mapping and evaluating areas of interest for new store openings
  • Communicating with prospective franchise partners, assessing collaboration potential, and presenting proposals
  • Managing and supporting existing franchisees through regular communication, performance monitoring, and operational guidance
  • Managing store budgets and goal achievement plans, tracking progress, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions
  • Coordinating legal and technical pre-inspections of properties and managing findings
  • Negotiating lease terms with property owners and renewing lease, sublease, and franchise agreements
  • Managing franchise pre-agreements and ensuring smooth integration of new partners into the network
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful store launches and operational consistency
  • Monitoring store operations to ensure compliance with company standards, contracts, and training protocols
  • Providing advisory support and training to franchise partners and store teams
  • Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of work experience, 4 of which should be in a company with a network of stores (franchise), ideally within the supermarket, convenience retail, or F&B sectors
  • Proven experience in B2B sales and franchise development
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze store-level financial data and KPIs
  • Proficient use of MS Office
  • Fluent in Greek and English
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally within the region
