Intellectica is recruiting an ambitious Junior Engineer on behalf of a dynamic and fast-growing construction company specializing in the development, renovation, and delivery of high-specification private residential projects. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily site operations and gaining hands-on experience across all phases of construction.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Supporting daily site operations and ensuring smooth workflow across teams
- Coordinating subcontractors and technical crews to meet project milestones
- Communicating with design teams to clarify drawings and resolve on-site issues
- Monitoring project timelines and reporting progress to senior engineers
- Assisting in procurement coordination and delivery scheduling of materials
- Tracking inventory levels and ensuring availability of site resources
- Preparing basic technical reports and maintaining project documentation
- Participating in weekly office meetings for planning and alignment
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or in Mechanical Engineering; A Master’s degree or certifications in relevant areas will be highly welcomed
- Up to 2 years of experience in construction or site-based roles
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite
- Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal)
- Completed military service (where applicable)
