Intellectica is recruiting a detail-oriented Project Coordination Engineer on behalf of a group specializing in Private-Public Construction, High-Tech Products, Real Estate and Renewable Energy Sources (RES) projects. The group is well known for delivering high-quality infrastructure and building projects across Greece, with a strong commitment to technical excellence and cost efficiency. Based in Athens, Greece, and reporting to the Procurement Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the technical office across multiple project phases, with a strong focus on budgeting, cost planning, and coordination.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Coordinating technical office operations to support the planning, execution, and delivery of construction and infrastructure projects
- Preparing and reviewing cost estimates based on project documentation, technical drawings, and site requirements
- Supporting budget planning and cost control throughout all phases of project development
- Monitoring actual project costs and identifying variances to improve future estimations and financial accuracy
- Liaising with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure alignment between project budgets and financial planning
- Managing procurement activities related to ongoing projects, including supplier communication, order tracking, and material planning
- Assisting in licensing procedures and documentation required for project compliance in both public and private sectors
- Conducting quantity take-offs and supporting pre-measurement activities for project planning and execution
- Participating in the preparation of technical studies, tender documentation, and project proposals
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to ensure coordinated project delivery
- Maintaining structured records and reports using MS Excel and relevant software tools to support project tracking
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely delivery of technical and administrative tasks
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field
- 2 – 4 years of experience within the construction industry
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with cost estimation tools such as Candy, CostOS or similar is a strong plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Fluency in Greek and English (both written and verbal)
