Intellectica is recruiting a highly driven and technically skilled Sales Engineer on behalf of a leading designer, manufacturer and engineer of high-quality pumps and systems, used in a large variety of water applications. Based in Kryoneri, Athens and reporting directly to the Chief Sales Engineer, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing tailored technical solutions, preparing detailed proposals, and supporting the sales team to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional client service.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to promote high-quality pumps and expand market share
  • Investigating client needs, providing tailored technical solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating closely with the engineering team to understand product specifications and technical details, ensuring accurate communication of product benefits and capabilities to clients
  • Preparing comprehensive client proposals, including pump selection, performance curves, general arrangement drawings, and technical data sheets
  • Drafting technical deliverables such as P&IDs, progress reports using Gantt diagrams, and inspection/testing plans
  • Providing technical support to clients and actively participating in exhibitions to enhance commercial awareness
  • Coordinating with internal teams to review project progress and align priorities
  • Monitoring and evaluating direct competition and market trends
  • Any other task that may be required from time-to-time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • Degree from a Technological/ Polytechnic University, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the pumps industry
  • Experience with AUTOCAD or similar applications is considered a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office applications
  • Fluency in both Greek and English
  • Drivers’ license
