- Managing a fast turnaround workflow (often same-day for news and trending topics)
- Collaborating with journalists/social editors to align on narrative, hook, and call-to-action
- Occasional filming/support on shoots (interviews, newsroom segments, events) depending on needs
- Maintaining an organized archive of project files, templates, fonts, lower-thirds, and brand assets
- Ensuring videos follow brand guidelines and platform best practices (safe areas, captioning, formats)
- Tracking performance signals and iterating editing style accordingly (retention, completion rate)
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- 2–4 years of experience as a video editor and/or videographer in media, content studios, or digital agencies
