Intellectica is recruiting a Valuations Supervisor on behalf of its client, a leading professional services firm with a strong presence in Greece and part of a global network. Recognised for its commitment to quality, inclusion, and integrity, the firm delivers high-impact advisory services across a broad range of industries. Based in Athens, Greece, the Valuations Supervisor will join the Deals team, working closely with M&A and Due Diligence professionals on valuation engagements supporting complex transactions and strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the role offers exposure to challenging projects in a fast-paced environment, with strong opportunities for professional growth and progression.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Deliver valuation engagements in the context of M&A transactions, financial reporting, and strategic advisory projects
- Develop and review financial models (3-statement, scenario and sensitivity analyses) to support valuation conclusions
- Apply valuation methodologies (DCF, Comparable Companies, Comparable Transactions) with clear rationale and consistency
- Perform market, industry, and company analysis to validate assumptions and key value drivers
- Analyse historical and forecast financial information to assess performance trends and risks impacting value
- Prepare client-ready valuation reports and presentations in line with professional standards and internal quality requirements
- Collaborate with M&A and Due Diligence teams to support transaction execution and integrated advisory delivery
- Support and guide junior team members through coaching, work review, and constructive feedback
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or CFA qualification will be considered a strong asset
- Proven experience in valuation engagements, with exposure to Deals-related projects (M&A, Due Diligence, or other transaction contexts)
- Minimum of 3–6 years of experience in valuations and financial modelling, preferably within an audit or consulting firm
- Strong knowledge of advanced accounting concepts and valuation techniques
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CapitalIQ and Bloomberg is highly regarded
- Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Military obligations fulfilled (if applicable)
