Intellectica is recruiting an ambitious Creative Director on behalf of its client, a video‑first creative agency operating at the intersection of corporate communication, brand storytelling, and performance‑driven social content. The organisation is moving from its current operating model into a more advanced and scalable version centred on higher creative standards, disciplined processes, and a tech‑ and AI‑forward approach designed to meet the expectations of modern marketing teams. To support this evolution, the company is seeking a Creative Director, based in Athens, who will report directly to the CEO. This role is a senior, hands‑on leadership position responsible for elevating creative quality, owning script development, ensuring end‑to‑end creative integrity, and establishing repeatable creative workflows that combine craft excellence with speed.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead concept development across corporate, branded, and social‑first video, turning briefs into clear creative territories, formats, and storylines
  • Set and uphold the agency’s creative bar—ensuring originality, clarity, and elevated quality without compromising fast delivery
  • Write and refine scripts, owning structure, pacing, tone, and messaging hierarchy
  • Oversee and safeguard all script quality using disciplined iteration processes including version control, structured feedback, and track‑changes‑based workflows
  • Design social‑native content systems—hooks, pacing logic, retention frameworks, repeatable formats, and modular templates that scale across accounts
  • Use performance signals intelligently to evolve creative ideas while maintaining strong creative judgment beyond basic metrics
  • Own creative integrity end‑to‑end from brief through pre‑production, shoot oversight (as needed), post‑production direction, and final sign‑off
  • Align creative ambition with production realities, including casting, locations, scheduling, and technical constraints
  • Direct and collaborate with internal teams and external subcontractors—including directors, DPs, editors, motion designers, and sound professionals—to deliver coherent final outputs
  • Install repeatable creative operating mechanisms (processes, review gates, QA) that reduce rework and make quality systemic
  • Lead and mentor the creative team with calm authority, providing clear expectations, strong feedback, and ongoing craft coaching
  • Guide and elevate external collaborators through structured briefs, clear standards, and consistent quality control—ensuring output consistency regardless of who executes
  • Use modern tools, including AI‑assisted workflows, to accelerate iteration, improve quality, and build reusable creative assets (format playbooks, scripting templates, prompt libraries, review workflows)
  • Apply AI responsibly, respecting confidentiality, IP, and tooling boundaries

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • 8+ years of experience in creative roles within agencies or production‑led environments, with a track record in video‑first storytelling and brand communication
  • 2+ years in senior creative leadership (Creative Director / ACD / Senior Creative Lead) leading concepts, scripts, and teams
  • Copywriting‑first foundation with a strong portfolio spanning corporate films, brand storytelling, commercials, and social‑first short‑form video
  • Demonstrated end‑to‑end leadership: brief interpretation → concept → script → production oversight → post‑production direction
  • Fluency in social‑native video craft including hooks, pacing, retention logic, and format systemisation
  • Experience mentoring creatives and collaborating with producers, editors, motion designers, and commercial stakeholders
  • Comfort with structured iteration workflows—track changes, version control, and review/approval tooling
  • Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken)
  • Portfolio required: showreel + 2–3 script samples (at least one showing iteration discipline)
  • Nice to have: experience with Tier‑1 brands, always‑on content ecosystems, modern project‑management/review tools (e.g., Zoho Projects, Asana, Monday), and AI‑assisted workflows
