Intellectica is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer on behalf of its client, a leading provider of engineering solutions for subsea cable installation and offshore energy infrastructure. With a strong focus on technical excellence and reliable project delivery, the company is expanding its team to support a growing portfolio of international projects. Based in Attiki, Greece, the role reports to the Operations Manager of the Offshore & Marine Construction Division and will be focusing on the coordination, documentation, and administration of maintenance activities across vessels and subsea equipment spreads.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing the centralized planning, administration, and documentation of maintenance activities for vessels and subsea spreads
  • Operating and updating the Planned Maintenance System (PMS), ensuring schedules, tasks, and technical data remain accurate
  • Monitoring servicing, inspections, and certification timelines for all assets
  • Supporting maintenance preparation for upcoming mobilizations
  • Maintaining structured maintenance files, technical records, certificates, and compliance documentation
  • Preparing maintenance reports, summaries, and documentation packages for audits and operational reviews
  • Acting as the primary liaison between offshore teams, workshops, vendors, and service providers
  • Facilitating clear information flow and documentation exchange to support ongoing and planned maintenance activities
  • Assisting with spare parts planning, availability checks, and stock documentation
  • Tracking reliability indicators and contributing to improvements in maintenance workflows
  • Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 4 – 8 years of experience in maintenance coordination, PMS administration, or technical documentation roles in marine, offshore, industrial, or energy sectors
  • Familiarity with vessel or equipment maintenance systems, certification cycles, and reliability tracking
  • Strong ability to manage technical files, documentation workflows, and administrative processes
  • Excellent command of Greek and English (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Outlook, Word)
