Intellectica is recruiting an ambitious After Sales Service Coordinator on behalf of its client, a long-established engineering company operating in the high efficiency energy sector. With a strong heritage and exclusive collaborations with leading European manufacturers, the company designs, supplies, and supports advanced Combined Heat & Power (CHP) systems and integrated energy solutions. Its portfolio includes comprehensive engineering services, turnkey project delivery, and robust after sales support. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting directly to the Technical Director, the successful candidate will combine technical knowledge with strong organizational skills, enabling the smooth and uninterrupted operation of CHP installations.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Monitoring the overall operation of installed CHP units, ensuring their smooth and uninterrupted performance
- Maintaining and updating all technical monitoring records, logs and operating hours of each unit
- Preparing annual and periodic maintenance schedules based on operating hours, contractual requirements and technical needs
- Ensuring timely execution of planned maintenance by coordinating internal teams, clients and external stakeholders
- Identifying required spare parts and preparing corresponding requests or quotations when needed
- Preparing all necessary documentation (job sheets, checklists, technical files) for field technicians
- Coordinating communication with clients to schedule urgent visits or corrective interventions
- Handling the full workflow of each service case: scheduling, documentation, follow‑up, cost calculation and communication of outcomes to clients
- Updating internal databases and technical records after completion of work, ensuring data accuracy and traceability
- Collaborating with the accounting department to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
- Managing warranty claims and ensuring that relevant procedures are followed
- Communicating with the manufacturer to coordinate approvals, technical instructions and spare parts when needed
- Undertaking any additional responsibilities as required
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ideally), Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field
- 3–5 years of experience in after sales or a relevant technical role (maintenance, operation or service coordination in industrial facilities), preferably within energy or electromechanical projects
- Previous involvement in CHP units or troubleshooting of industrial energy systems will be considered an asset
- Solid knowledge of Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) and Thermodynamics
- Excellent command of MS Office especially Excel and Word
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Fluent in English and Greek, including technical terminology
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
