Intellectica is seeking a Compliance & Quality Control Associate – German Speaking on behalf of its client, a rapidly expanding European financial services firm operating in the brokerage, investment advisory and investment banking space, serving clients across multiple markets. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting to the Compliance Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of client‑related communications in the German market, supporting the integrity of the compliance framework and contributing to the organisation’s ongoing commitment to responsible and compliant operations.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Supporting the Compliance department in maintaining consistently high operational and communication quality across markets
- Conducting systematic reviews of recorded client interactions in German to ensure adherence to internal guidelines and communication policies
- Identifying potential inconsistencies, risks or deviations from expected communication standards and documenting observations with clarity and accuracy
- Classifying, tagging and organizing reviewed recordings in accordance with established compliance procedures
- Assisting in compiling quality assessment summaries and escalating findings
- Collaborating with compliance teams in Greece and Cyprus to support process optimization and ensure unified compliance practices across regions
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field
- Native‑level command of the German language
- Prior experience in compliance or quality control is considered a plus
- Solid MS Office skills
- Fluency in Greek and proficiency in English, both written and spoken
