Intellectica is recruiting a motivated Quality Control Engineer on behalf of a leading designer and manufacturer of high quality pumps and systems, used in a large variety of water applications with exports to 100 countries. Based in North Athens, Attiki, the successful candidate will report to the Head of Production and work closely with the engineering and sales team to ensure that all products and activities meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing the implementation and maintenance of ISO quality management systems, or other relevant certifications, across the organization
- Maintaining a robust document control system, overseeing the preparation, review, approval, and distribution of quality-related documents, including procedures, work instructions, and manuals
- Ensuring that the company complies with all relevant regulatory and industry standards, and monitoring changes to these standards to adapt the quality management system accordingly
- Investigating non-conformance, customer complaints, and product issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence
- Collaborating with the production team to evaluate and monitor suppliers, ensuring they meet the required quality standards and certifications
- Establishing and verifying technical specifications for products, ensuring they align with customer requirements and industry standards in collaboration with the engineering and sales team
- Any other task that may be required from time-to-time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- BSc in Engineering; preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- At least 1 year of experience in a Quality Control/Assurance role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in pumps or related fluid systems
- Familiarity with international quality standards and certifications
- Fluency in Greek and English
