Intellectica is seeking an Account Manager on behalf of its client, a dynamic and fast-growing provider of integrated telecommunications and energy solutions. With a long-standing strategic partnership with leading providers in telecommunications and energy, the company delivers tailored connectivity and electricity services to a diverse portfolio of retail and business clients. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting to the Sales Manager, the ideal candidate will join a dynamic Sales team and play a key role in managing existing corporate relationships while driving new business opportunities across the B2B landscape.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Design and implement account growth strategies, targeting business clients with needs in telecom and energy sectors, aiming to position the company as a comprehensive provider and build long-term, high-value partnerships
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, monitor contract performance, and proactively identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities across mobile, internet, and energy services
- Conduct structured market research to identify potential clients, segment opportunities, and build a qualified sales pipeline aligned with company objectives
- Engage with prospective clients through consultative selling, present tailored proposals, and manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition into service
- Conduct regular client visits and attend meetings to maintain strong relationships and identify new opportunities
- Act as the primary point of contact for client concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution while maintaining a high standard of professionalism
- Liaise with departments such as billing, technical support, and customer care to resolve client issues, ensure service continuity, and deliver seamless customer experience
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy
- Monitor account metrics, usage trends, and client feedback, and report regularly to the Sales Manager on progress, challenges, and opportunities
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within telecom or energy sectors
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow large client accounts effectively
- Proven ability to develop new business and expand an existing client base
- Strong understanding of the Greek corporate market
- Proficiency in CRM Systems and MS Office
- Valid driver’s license
- Fluent in both English and Greek
