Intellectica is recruiting an Account Manager (General Insurance) on behalf of its client, a well‑established insurance brokerage firm based in Athens, Greece, with over three decades of presence in the Greek market. The company specializes in General Insurance solutions and supports a wide range of corporate clients, including industrial, commercial, hospitality, construction and professional sectors, as well as selected private clients. Reporting to the Leadership Team, the successful candidate will play a key role in the end‑to‑end operational handling of insurance placements, policy administration, and market research activities.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Acting as a coordination point for General Insurance operations, ensuring efficient handling of policy-related processes across the full insurance lifecycle
- Managing new and renewal business, including collecting required documentation, requesting insurer quotations, and preparing comparative insurance analyses
- Supporting the placement process by preparing submissions, organizing documentation, and liaising with insurers to secure accurate terms and conditions
- Using insurer portals to obtain quotations, issue policies, process endorsements, and maintain data accuracy
- Maintaining organized and up-to-date policy records in line with internal procedures and compliance requirements
- Collaborating with the General Insurance team to ensure consistent service standards and continuous process improvement
- Supporting senior team members with technical and administrative tasks as required
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- BSc in Business Administration or a related field; insurance-focused studies are an asset
- 3+ years of experience in General Insurance within an insurance brokerage firm or insurance company
- Valid certification as Insurance Intermediary
- Hands‑on familiarity with policy administration, insurer portals, and General Insurance processes
- Understanding of placements, underwriting documentation, and insurance studies
- Comfortable working with MS Office Suite
- Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal)
