Intellectica is recruiting on behalf of its client, a rapidly growing group of companies active in architecture, construction, and hospitality development, headquartered in Athens. The company is currently seeking an experienced Architect to join its growing team. This is a full-time position reporting to the Design Director and offers the opportunity to contribute to conceptually rich and technically refined projects across Greece.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Leading and participating in the design, development, and delivery of architectural and construction projects, ensuring creative and technical excellence
• Supporting the preparation and execution of pre-design studies and feasibility assessments
• Preparing, adapting, and refining architectural drawings and technical documentation to meet project requirements and site conditions
• Presenting design concepts and progress updates to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback as needed
• Actively managing day-to-day site operations, including scheduling, supervising crews, and ensuring timely delivery
• Supervising construction activities ensuring compliance with design intent, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Managing and coordinating multiple teams and subcontractors on-site, resolving technical issues as they arise
• Coordinating the process of obtaining necessary permits and approvals for construction projects
• Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and successful project outcomes
• Ensuring all project documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards
• Providing updates to the Lead Architect on design and construction progress
• Any other tasks that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; master’s degree is considered a plus
• At least 5 years of proven experience in both architectural design and construction, with strong on-site management responsibilities
• Proven exposure to residential, hospitality and F&B projects from concept to completion
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong understanding of Greek Building Codes and permitting processes
• Valid driving license
• Fluency in both Greek and English (written and spoken)
