Intellectica is recruiting a talented Associate Lawyer (Tax), specialized in corporate and business structuring taxation, to join the Tax team of a leading Greek law firm based in Athens. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside market-leading professionals and contribute to high-impact legal projects. With a strong domestic and international clientele and a commitment to excellence, the firm advises on some of the most complex and high-profile transactions across real estate, finance, energy, and cross-border corporate law. The role reports directly to the Tax Partner and entails close collaboration with cross-functional legal teams.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Advising clients on corporate tax matters related to group restructurings and cross-border transactions
 - Structuring and reviewing complex domestic and international corporate tax arrangements
 - Providing tax-related legal support in real estate, energy, and financing transactions
 - Drafting legal opinions and memos on corporate tax issues, tax compliance, and regulatory implications
 - Supporting transactional due diligence processes and advising on tax-related risk mitigation strategies
 - Collaborating closely with clients, building long-term trusted relationships, and understanding business needs
 - Keeping abreast of evolving tax legislation and contributing to internal knowledge sharing
 - Any other task that may be required from time to time
 
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a strong academic record. A Master’s degree (LLM) in Tax or equivalent diploma from a repute law school in Greece is highly desirable
 - 3-5 years of professional experience, practicing tax law, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal environment
 - Admission to the Athens Bar or a regional Bar Association in Greece
 - Solid understanding of both Greek and international tax regulatory frameworks
 - Fluent written and spoken English and Greek
