Intellectica is recruiting an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Associate on behalf of its client, a global leader in integrated security technology solutions with over 20 years of presence across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the ideal candidate will play a key role in driving the growth of the Electronic Security Systems division through a proactive, communicative, and commercially driven approach, bringing proven B2B sales experience and a strong interest in enterprise‑level security technologies including CCTV, Intrusion Alarms, Access Control, Fire Detection, and Remote Monitoring

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Prospect, identify, and qualify new B2B business opportunities within targeted industries and key market verticals
  • Drive new client acquisition and expand the company’s market presence across medium and large enterprise customers
  • Initiate and manage engagement with prospective clients through structured discovery meetings, building credible, trust-based relationships to fully understand their security and risk-management requirements
  • Deliver tailored value propositions aligned with customer needs, strategically positioning the company as a trusted and preferred provider of integrated electronic security solutions
  • Manage the full lifecycle, from lead generation and qualification through to opportunity handover to the Technical Installations team
  • Lead the development of high-impact commercial proposals and deliver clear, persuasive presentations to senior stakeholders and key decision-makers
  • Collaborate closely with the internal Pre-Sales design team to define solution architecture, technical specifications, and commercial alignment
  • Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and potential risks
  • Cooperate cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing teams to design, coordinate, and execute targeted outreach initiatives and go-to-market campaigns
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting and contribute insights to support forecasting and strategic planning
  • Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, IT or related technical field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree will be considered a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or client portfolio expansion, ideally within the security systems or broader technology sector
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets while successfully developing new business opportunities
  • Proven capability to build rapport swiftly and maintain strong, professional relationships with key stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating in cross-border European markets and managing international clients and partner networks
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively
  • Highly organized, self‑motivated, and result-oriented, with a strong drive for continuous achievement
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, written and spoken
