Intellectica is recruiting a motivated Costing Engineer on behalf of a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality pumps and systems, used in a large variety of water applications with exports to 100 countries. Based in Kryoneri, Attiki, the successful candidate will report to the company’s COO and will be responsible for creating costings related to the production of the pumps.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Analyzing historical purchasing data to create accurate and reliable forecasts for pump production costs and their components
- Collaborating with the sales engineering department to prepare bids that align with the company’s desired profit margins
- Communicating with the purchasing department to define boundaries in negotiations with suppliers
- Generating and presenting reports to the company’s management regarding cost-related data, along with relevant proposals for cost reduction
- Any other work that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical or Industrial Engineering will be an advantage
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the industrial sector
- Familiarity with ERP Systems
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Fluency in Greek and English
