Intellectica is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Data Sales Analyst on behalf of a leading producer in the food and beverage industry. This role is based in Athens, Greece, and reports directly to the Sales Director. The ideal candidate will collaborate with sales and operations teams to analyze and report on sales data, supporting strategic decisions and driving improvements across multiple sales channels. The candidate should possess advanced Excel skills, a commercial mindset, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Managing and maintaining comprehensive sales logs for all channels
• Analyzing sales data by customer, store, and product, providing detailed reports to inform decision-making
• Developing and maintaining performance tracking dashboards and sales reports for various sales channels (e.g., retail, wholesale)
• Ensuring accurate data entry, reporting, and regular updates to maintain data integrity
• Tracking key sales metrics, product performance, and customer trends to identify opportunities for improvement
• Providing actionable insights based on data analysis, recognizing trends and patterns that influence sales performance
• Recommending strategies for sales improvement and process optimization based on analytical findings
• Driving the development and implementation of Power BI reports for enhanced data visualization and reporting
• Collaborating with the sales team and other departments (e.g., marketing) to develop data-driven strategies for sales growth and optimization
• Any other task that may be required from time to time

 Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on sales analysis and data analytics
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite; advanced Excel skills
• Proven experience in reporting and data analysis; knowledge of Power BI is a plus, with the ability to assist in its implementation and the development of other reporting tools
• Strong skills in data analysis and visualization, with the ability to translate business requirements into visual reports
• Solid understanding of the retail and sales landscape, with the ability to leverage data to influence business decisions
• Fluent in Greek and English
