Intellectica is recruiting a Documentation Engineer on behalf of its client, a leading provider of engineering solutions for subsea cable installation and offshore energy infrastructure. With a strong focus on technical excellence and reliable project delivery, the company is expanding its team to support a growing portfolio of international projects. Based in Attiki, Greece, the role reports to the to the Operations Manager of the Offshore & Marine Construction Division and will take full ownership of technical reporting and project documentation across all phases. Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Owning the compilation and delivery of all project documentation, including daily, weekly and final reporting packages
- Processing and organizing survey outputs and burial data, ensuring accuracy, consistency and correct formatting for internal use and client submission
- Preparing as‑laid and as‑built documentation, integrating survey data, installation records and engineering inputs into complete, auditable dossiers
- Producing clear, structured and technically accurate reports, aligned with client specifications, project requirements and internal quality standards
- Managing document control activities, including versioning, traceability, file naming conventions and controlled distribution across project stakeholders
- Coordinating review and approval cycles, ensuring timely contributions from engineering, survey and project teams
- Ensuring documentation compliance with contractual, technical and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Supporting project teams during planning and execution, providing documentation updates, clarifications and structured data organization
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or a related field
- Professional experience in offshore, subsea, survey or marine projects, ideally involving reporting, survey data handling or documentation preparation
- Familiarity with EIVA, Makai or similar survey/engineering software is highly preferred
- Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to produce structured, accurate and client‑ready documentation
- Comfortable working with survey datasets, offshore logs, installation records and other technical project inputs
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Word and Excel; experience with document management systems is an advantage
- Excellent command of Greek and English (spoken and written)
