Intellectica is recruiting a Finance & Operations Associate on behalf of a dynamic organization operating at the intersection of creative production and social media management. Based in Athens, Greece, the successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager and play a key role in supporting budget management, financial processes, and operational coordination. The position combines hands-on involvement in reporting, cash flow planning, and administrative support, contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead budget management, track actuals, and monitor KPIs across all departments
  • Administer and enhance use of the Zoho suite (CRM, Books, Projects, Campaigns) to support financial and operational workflow
  • Control expenses, oversee invoice issuance, and manage receivables and payables with timeliness and accuracy
  • Prepare cashflow forecasts, highlight discrepancies, and advise on liquidity and financial planning
  • Liaise with external accountants to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
  • Prepare and deliver managerial reports on a monthly, quarterly, half-year, and annual basis to support data-driven decision-making
  • Undertake projects of strategic importance to the business, contributing to the firm’s expansion in a dynamic, collaborative setting
  • Support general office management and handle administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • MSc degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA, CFI) are a plus
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in finance and operations, ideally in a scale-up environment
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, cashflows, and financial reporting with precision
  • Hands-on experience with ERP or business systems, particularly Zoho platforms, is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated comfort working with external accounting partners and managing monthly/quarterly closings
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite
  • Fluent in both Greek and English (written and verbal)
