Intellectica is recruiting a versatile HR Director on behalf of a leading family-owned FMCG Group. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting directly to the Chief Administration Officer, the successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment and implementing effective HR strategies to support the overall business objectives of the Group.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Dealing with organizational charts, grading, and organizational changes, designing career and succession plans
- Leading the formation of detailed job descriptions, outlining critical professional and qualitative skills
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating the organization’s HR-related Policies & Procedures, and aligning them with the Group’s mission, vision, values, and regulatory requirements
- Designing and supervising the implementation of performance management plans to drive employee development and engagement
- Creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to quantify Human Resource Performance
- Managing compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, benefits enrollment, and performance-based incentives by recommending possible adjustments
- Collecting and processing data relating to employee satisfaction (workplace climate and employee engagement surveys)
- Collaborating with Managers and Directors to craft and implement relevant training programs
- Overseeing and managing the recruitment and selection process by conducting interviews and making hiring decisions
- Managing employee relations, fostering adoption of the Group’s culture and values
- Coordinating the organization of corporate & social responsibility events
- Staying up to date on employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance (strict adherence to GDPR)
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and/or related certifications are considered a plus
- At least 15 years’ of experience in human resource management including 5 years’ of experience in a leadership role; experience from multinational corporations (MNCs) is required and exposure to family businesses is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits
- In-depth knowledge of Labor & Employment Law
- Experience in payroll processing
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal)
