Intellectica is recruiting an experienced Human Resources Director on behalf of a leading technology and engineering company delivering innovative, value-driven solutions across various industries. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment and implementing effective HR strategies to support the overall business objectives of the company.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing, implementing and evaluating the company’s HR-related Policies & Procedures, and aligning them with the company’s mission, vision, values, and regulatory requirements
- Managing and fostering effective relationships amongst employees, addressing any claims, disputes, or issues that arise to maintain a harmonious work environment
- Leading the recruitment and selection process, from developing procedures to conducting interviews and making hiring decisions, with a focus on attracting and retaining top talent
- Advising and supporting managers in staffing and performance management, utilizing KPIs to drive employee development and engagement
- Collaborating with Project Managers to design and implement learning & development programs that support employee growth and company’s goals
- Overseeing human resources using Workforce Management systems to streamline HR operations
- Staying current on employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with labor laws in collaboration with the legal department
- Working closely with the Payroll Officer to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Economics or a related field; Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and/or related certifications are considered a plus
- At least 15 years’ of experience in HR management including 5 years of experience in a leadership role; experience in the Technology sector is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, employee relations management, performance management, compensation and benefits, and learning & development
- In-depth knowledge of Labor & Employment Law
- Payroll management experience in an ERP environment
- Exposure to Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) and Talent Acquisition tools
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal)
