Intellectica is recruiting a dynamic Human Resources Assistant on behalf of a leading building materials company. Based in Attiki, Greece and reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager of the company, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering proficient HR assistance, leading the recruitment process and facilitating seamless HR operations within the organization.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing support to employees in various HR-related topics
  • Compiling, organizing and updating employee records
  • Ensuring HR compliance with Greek labor and employment laws and regulations
  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating the organization’s Policies & Procedures, by providing guidance for new HR policies, where required
  • Identifying and implementing efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role and the needs of the organization
  • Screening applications and selecting qualified candidates
  • Conducting interviews with prospective candidates
  • Collaborating with the hiring managers in the decision making process
  • Supporting the HR Manager with other tasks as required

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources Management is considered a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in recruiting; preferably in a retail environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Labor & Employment Law
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal)
