Intellectica is recruiting an experienced Installation & Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a leading designer, manufacturer and engineer of high-quality pumps and systems, used in a large variety of water applications. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation, operation and maintenance of pump systems in client premises. Based in Bucharest, Romania, the candidate will report directly to the Romania Country Head and liaise with the Technical Director, based in Greece. The role includes frequently travel to client sites to oversee installations and provide maintenance support.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
Installation and Commissioning:
- Overseeing the installation and commissioning of pump systems at client sites
- Ensuring that all installations comply with industry standards and client specifications
- Providing technical support during the installation process, resolving any issues that arise
Maintenance and Repair:
- Conducting regular maintenance checks on installed pump systems to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues of pump systems, minimizing downtime for clients
- Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules
Customer Support:
- Providing technical support and training to clients on the operation and maintenance of pump systems
- Responding to client inquiries and service requests in a timely and professional manner
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Promoting and adhering to safety standards and practices during installations and maintenance activities
- Conducting safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Any other task that may be required from time-to-time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a Technological/Polytechnic University
- At least 5 years experience in an engineering role, preferably from a construction company; work experience in Romania is considered a strong plus
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
- Fluency in Greek and English; knowledge of Romanian is considered a strong plus
- Valid EU driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently
