Intellectica is recruiting a dynamic Legal Advisor on behalf of a leading business advisory firm with a presence in over 20 cities across Southeast Europe, the Middle East, and the Baltics, offering services in tax, payroll, accounting, and corporate advisory. Based in Athens, Greece, and reporting directly to the HR Officer, the successful candidate will play a key role in providing legal advice and managing legal tasks related to corporate, tax, employment, immigration, and real estate matters, while ensuring compliance and staying informed about relevant legal developments.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Delivering high-level legal counsel across a range of areas, including corporate governance, tax law, employment, immigration, and real estate matters, to both internal teams and clients, ensuring strategic and compliant business decisions
  • Drafting, reviewing, and ensuring the accuracy of various legal documents, including corporate agreements, memos, and contracts, ensuring they align with legal standards
  • Managing stakeholder relations by collaborating with relevant government authorities, clients, and external partners to ensure the timely and successful completion of legal processes and requirements
  • Overseeing real estate transactions from inception to completion, including conducting comprehensive due diligence, reviewing and preparing contracts, and resolving any emerging issues throughout the process
  • Proactively ensuring the company’s adherence to local and international legal standards by continuously monitoring regulatory changes and updating internal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks accordingly
  • Collaborating with various business units to ensure the integration of legal insights into day-to-day operations, offering practical legal solutions that support the company’s goals
  • Continuously tracking changes in legislation and industry regulations, advising the company on emerging legal trends and implementing necessary adjustments to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
  • Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • A University or College degree in Law, accompanied by the necessary certifications and qualifications to practice law in Greece
  • Up to 2 years of experience within a corporate setting, law office, or law firm, with exposure to legal practices in a business context
  • A strong desire to expand knowledge of Greek corporate law, commercial law, international business practices, as well as civil, tax, and immigration law
  • Experience in immigration law and/or GDPR compliance will be considered an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and strong computer literacy
  • Fluency in both Greek and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
