Intellectica is recruiting an Junior SEO expert on behalf of its client, a dynamic and fast-growing media technology company that powers digital transformation for leading media organizations. With long-term client partnerships and a strong focus on innovation, the company delivers among others cutting-edge SEO and analytics solutions tailored to the needs of high-traffic publishers and broadcasters. As part of its expanding SEO team, the company is now seeking a Junior SEO Expert to support the SEO team in driving organic growth across multiple digital properties. Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Support on-page SEO efforts; you’ll help fine-tune title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and overall content structure to make sure our pages are optimized for both users and search engines
- Assist in keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner and Ubersuggest, helping us find the right terms to target in our content
- Monitor performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog — flagging any issues or drops we should look into
- Working under the guidance of senior team members, you’ll help conduct basic SEO audits and contribute to implementing fixes and enhancements
- You’ll collaborate with editors and copywriters to ensure SEO best practices are embedded into content creation and publishing processes
- Whether it’s WordPress or other platforms, you’ll work within our CMS to implement SEO updates and improvements
- You’ll assist in creating SEO dashboards and performance reports in Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio) to track results and showcase wins
- You’ll contribute to conversion rate optimization and A/B testing efforts to help improve user experience and engagement
- You’ll keep learning about the latest SEO updates, trends, and algorithm changes so you’re always growing with the field
- From time to time, you may take on additional SEO-related tasks that support the broader goals of the team
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management & Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
- 2 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in content-driven or publishing environments
- Good understanding of on-page SEO elements (title tags, meta descriptions, H1-H6)
- Familiarity with SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CMS platforms, especially WordPress
- Strong copywriting and content optimization skills with an SEO mindset
- Experience with keyword research tools such as Ubersuggest and Google Keyword Planner
- Exposure to SEO auditing and CRO principles is a plus
- Experience with large eCommerce or publisher websites is considered a plus
- Fluency in Greek and proficiency in English, both written and spoken
