Intellectica is seeking a motivated and dynamic Key Account Manager (Dubai) on behalf of a leading family-owned company specializing in the import, distribution and promotion of premium coffee and beverage brands in Greece. With a strong presence in the Greek market and a growing international footprint, the company is renowned for its unwavering commitment to quality and innovation. Now, it is embarking on an exciting new chapter by expanding into the Dubai market. Based in Dubai, UAE, and reporting directly to the Commercial Director (based in Greece), the ideal candidate will spearhead the market entry, focusing on introducing the company’s products to key supermarket chains, fostering strategic relationships, and building a strong market presence.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading the company’s ambitious expansion into the Dubai market by crafting and executing a detailed market entry strategy
- Identifying key opportunities, target segments, and establishing a competitive positioning plan
- Building and sustaining strong, trust-based relationships with top-tier supermarket chains and retail partners, acting as the face of the brand in the region
- Spearheading high-stakes negotiations with retail decision-makers to secure advantageous contracts and establish long-term collaborations that align with business objectives
- Staying ahead of the curve by conducting deep market analysis to uncover emerging trends, assess competitor strategies, and identify consumer preferences
- Driving sales growth by introducing and promoting the company’s high-quality coffee products
- Driving measurable business outcomes by creating targeted campaigns and initiatives that increase product adoption, market share, and revenue growth
- Designing and executing impactful promotional strategies and in-store activations that boost product visibility and engage consumers effectively
- Partnering with internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies and supply readiness
- Maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction by ensuring all partnerships are nurtured with ongoing support, regular communication, and a solutions-driven approach
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field, providing a strong grounding in strategic business principles
- Demonstrated success in key account management, business development, or a similar role, ideally within the FMCG, coffee, or premium beverages sector
- Deep understanding of the Dubai retail landscape, including established relationships or familiarity with top-tier supermarket chains and retail networks
- A history of securing placements in supermarkets and other retail chains
- Exceptional ability to craft and close win-win deals, fostering enduring partnerships and securing long-term agreements
- Experience working in diverse, multicultural environments, with an ability to navigate and adapt to the unique demands of the Dubai market
- Fluency in English and Arabic is essential; knowledge of Greek is a strong plus
