Intellectica is recruiting a Logistics & Warehouse Manager on behalf of its client, a global leader in construction chemicals with a long-standing presence in Greece and strong growth momentum. The company operates with high safety standards, advanced supply chain processes and a commitment to operational excellence. To support its expanding logistics footprint — including new warehouse locations and increased export activity — the organization is seeking an experienced professional to lead its warehouse operations in Attiki. The role reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Overseeing end‑to‑end warehouse operations across current and future sites, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and growth targets
- Managing a team of 20 employees (4 office staff, 16 warehouse professionals), ensuring high performance, training, and development
- Ensuring accurate order preparation, loading, routing, and timely dispatch of products across Greece and abroad
- Monitoring KPIs, productivity levels, warehouse layout efficiency and process accuracy, proposing and implementing improvements
- Ensuring full compliance with the company’s high safety standards while cultivating a continuous safety-first mindset across the warehouse
- Coordinating distribution activities and ensuring timely deliveries across Greece and abroad
- Managing logistics processes related to exports, including preparation, documentation and coordination with relevant partners
- Overseeing collaboration with logistics partners and ensuring service quality, alignment and continuous performance improvement
- Securing accurate stock control and inventory practices across a wide product portfolio (~8,000 SKUs)
- Supporting the setup and operational readiness of new warehouse sites
- Working closely with Planning, Procurement and Production to ensure seamless end‑to‑end supply chain operations
- Identifying process gaps, proposing solutions and driving continuous optimisation initiatives
- Leading the transition from the existing WMS (Mantis) to SAP, driving system optimisation and smooth adoption across teams
- Any other work that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience in a similar warehouse or logistics leadership role within a multinational environment
- Experience in domestic distribution and export logistics
- Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems, ERP systems and other digital tools
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and hands‑on experience with WMS transitions or system rollouts is considered a strong plus
- Solid understanding of workplace Health & Safety standards and compliance practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in Greek and proficient in English
