Intellectica is recruiting a Pre Sales Engineer on behalf of a group of companies with over 20 years of experience in electricity generation and supply from Renewable Energy Sources. Reporting directly to the Pre-Sales & Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will design and support integrated photovoltaic and energy autonomy solutions, engage directly with clients and contractors, and contribute to the technical and commercial success of projects across the building sector. This role is based primarily on Marousi, with occasional travel to Mandra (production site) and client sites across Attica. It combines office-based technical design and client-facing fieldwork, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to both the commercial and engineering aspects of energy projects.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Act as the technical-commercial liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams, supporting the full lifecycle of energy projects from concept to execution
- Participate in client meetings and sales visits, translating technical requirements into commercially viable solutions and building trust through expert guidance
- Lead the design and development of tailored energy autonomy solutions, including photovoltaic systems for buildings, net metering setups, and self-production configurations
- Conduct on-site assessments to validate technical feasibility and gather data for accurate system sizing and proposal development
- Prepare and present comprehensive techno-economic proposals that align with client needs and company standards, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and commercial viability
- Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and R&D teams to refine offerings, integrate feedback, and enhance solution competitiveness
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical tools, documentation, and workflows that support pre-sales operations and knowledge sharing
- Support the Pre-Sales & Engineering Manager in strategic initiatives, partner training, and client presentations, with growing autonomy over time
- Stay informed on emerging technologies, market trends, and innovations in renewable energy to continuously enhance solution design and client value
- Other tasks may be assigned from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical (preferably) or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on photovoltaic systems in the building sector
- Solid knowledge of electrical installations, net metering technologies and energy autonomy solutions
- Proven experience in preparing technical documentation and commercial offers
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Attica as needed
- Fluent in both English and Greek
