Intellectica is seeking a highly motivated Preventive Maintenance Supervisor on behalf of a leading coffee shop chain with presence in Greece and other European countries. Based in Attiki, Greece, the successful candidate will report directly to the Field Service Manager. The primary objective of the successful candidate is to ensure efficient equipment operation and maintenance across the coffee shop chain while leading, mentoring, and supporting the technical team.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supervising the maintenance team (up to four people), ensuring a collaborative and positive work environment, while driving team performance and morale
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for stores and franchisees, developing and maintaining strong relationships
  • Providing prompt support for installation, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring franchisees receive exceptional service
  • Scheduling and coordinating technical team visits to stores and franchise locations for equipment inspections, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring smooth operations across all locations
  • Planning and overseeing workshop activities, ensuring all tasks—both in-store and workshop-related—are recorded in the ZOHO system
  • Coordinating the ordering of spare parts for workshop needs in collaboration with the department head
  • Managing and overseeing the inventory of spare parts and mechanical equipment, ensuring balance between recorded and actual stock levels
  • Preparing regular reports on new equipment testing, weekly schedules, and performance evaluations, identifying and addressing recurring equipment failures for continuous improvement
  • Documenting recurring equipment issues and submitting detailed reports to the department head for further action
  • Ensuring the department operates efficiently, monitoring adherence to work practices, regulations, and health and safety standards
  • Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • Diploma from a Technical/Vocational Educational Institute in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Familiarity with the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment used for beverage production and coffee grinding is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams is strongly preferred
  • Good understanding of machine operation and maintenance
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly the MS Office Suite
  • Fluent in Greek and English, both written and verbal
  • Fulfilled military obligations (if applicable)
  • Willingness to travel as required
