Intellectica is recruiting a motivated Account Manager on behalf of a leading Corporate Communications Agency. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting directly to the Team Leader, the successful candidate shall manage both existing and new accounts in the Public and Private sectors and support content creation under a 360° capacity, shaping a positive public image for the agency’s clients. The agency seeks a team player who is a self-starter with a proactive mindset, delivers results, and builds robust relationships.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Serving as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding client needs and objectives, providing exceptional customer service, and developing & executing meaningful communication plans
  • Developing and executing omnichannel communication strategies and campaigns, setting clear campaign objectives, and tracking performance
  • Preparing high-quality communication content (messaging, press releases, native articles, interviews, statements, letters etc.) to achieve set targets
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including key media, editors, KOL’s, MPs & local governance and other industry members
  • Representing the agency on key PR issues, articulating the organization’s viewpoints and strategies in response to emerging trends and challenges
  • Leading initiatives to build relationships with journalists, gaining a deep understanding of the media landscape and developing robust media connections,
  • Ensuring regular updates to media lists, promptly notifying the agency of media changes, creating customized media lists for client content, and maintaining accurate master client media lists
  • Staying up to date on industry trends and competitor activities

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, business administration, marketing or related field; a Masters’ degree is considered a plus
  • 2-3 years of experience in Corporate PR, Communications, and/or Account Management at a PR agency
  • Proven experience & good grasp in the public sector will be a plus
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal)
