Intellectica is seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager (Interim Position) on behalf of a fast-growing franchise food chain. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will lead the company’s marketing strategy, drive customer acquisition and strengthen brand loyalty during an exciting phase of international expansion. The is expected to convert into a Marketing Director role.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and executing innovative campaigns to enhance brand awareness and market share across multiple locations
  • Ensuring consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints, including in-store promotions, packaging, and digital channels
  • Designing and implementing strategies to attract new and retain existing customers, including promotional events, partnerships, and loyalty programs
  • Analyzing performance metrics, such as sales data and campaign results, to optimize marketing initiatives and maximize ROI
  • Overseeing online channels, including social media, email marketing, website management and paid advertising
  • Collaborating with operational teams and franchisees to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives
  • Leading resource allocation to ensure efficient and cost-effective marketing campaigns
  • Mentoring and inspiring a team of marketing professionals to foster creativity and high performance
  • Any other tasks that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master Degree will be considered a plus
  • At least 7 years of experience in marketing, including 3+ years in a senior role within the Quick-Service-Restaurant (QSR), franchise, or retail sectors
  • Proven track record in executing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent in Greek and English
