Intellectica is seeking a highly motivated Store Manager on behalf of a leading company specializing in the supply of reliable and comprehensive electrical equipment, meeting the diverse needs of electrical installers, technical companies, and individual consumers. With a strong and rapidly expanding market presence, the company has become one of the most dynamic players in Greece’s electrical supplies sector, with over 30 stores nationwide. Based in Patras, Greece, and reporting to the Regional Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving commercial and financial performance while ensuring the seamless operation of the store.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Monitoring the local market, identifying competitor activities, and proposing strategic adjustments to maintain the store’s competitive edge
- Expanding the customer portfolio by actively identifying new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing clients
- Developing and executing sales plans in collaboration with the Regional Manager to meet revenue and profitability targets
- Overseeing and guiding in-store promotional activities to ensure successful execution and maximum customer engagement
- Managing the preparation, submission, and follow-up of commercial offers to ensure high conversion rates
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s commercial and credit policy while monitoring customer balances and coordinating collections with the Credit Department
- Leading by example in customer service, addressing complaints, and ensuring an optimal in-store experience
- Managing inventory levels to maintain optimal stock availability while minimizing overstock and shortages
- Supervising the proper organization and functionality of the store’s warehouse, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards
- Overseeing store layout and visual merchandising to align with corporate guidelines and enhance product presentation
- Motivating, training, and evaluating store employees to ensure high performance and alignment with company objectives
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field from a university, technical institute (TEI), vocational training institute (IEK), or technical school
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Store Manager, preferably in the electrical or technical equipment industry
- Experience in sales and business development, with a strong ability to drive revenue growth
- Strong knowledge of the technical aspects of electrical equipment, products, and related systems is preferred
- Ability to analyze sales data and make business decisions
- Proficiency in ERP, CRM, and data analysis tools
- Fluent in both Greek and English (written and verbal)
