Intellectica is recruiting a Supply Chain Manager on behalf of its client, a global leader in construction chemicals with a long-standing presence in Greece and strong growth momentum. The company operates with high safety standards, advanced supply chain processes and a commitment to operational excellence. To support its expanding logistics footprint the organization is seeking an experienced professional to lead the full end‑to‑end supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution. Based in Attiki, the role reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Design, implement and continuously refine an end‑to‑end supply chain strategy (procurement, logistics, inventory, warehousing and distribution) that supports business growth, service level targets and cost‑efficiency
  • Translate company objectives and sales forecasts into supply chain plans, ensuring alignment with Production, Sales and Finance
  • Define and track key supply chain KPIs (service level, inventory health, lead times, cost per shipment, etc.) and drive a culture of performance and accountability
  • Map, challenge and optimize core supply chain processes (S&OP / demand planning, replenishment, order‑to‑delivery, returns), eliminating inefficiencies and bottlenecks
  • Lead the effective use and continuous improvement of ERP, WMS and TMS tools, ensuring data accuracy and meaningful reporting for decision‑making
  • Use data analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and convert insights into clear action plans that improve reliability and reduce total supply chain cost
  • Manage the procurement lifecycle for key categories, ensuring competitive pricing, quality and service levels
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, negotiating contracts, terms and service agreements that support long‑term collaboration
  • Own inventory strategy and parameters (safety stocks, reorder points, MOQ, etc.) to balance availability with working capital requirements
  • Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficient layout, storage, picking, and loading processes, as well as adherence to H&S and quality standards
  • Coordinate domestic and international transportation and distribution to secure on‑time, in‑full deliveries to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Identify supply chain risks (supplier constraints, capacity issues, logistics disruptions) and establish mitigation and contingency plans
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable regulations (including customs/import‑export where relevant), as well as internal policies and H&S standards
  • Promote a continuous improvement mindset, initiating and leading cross‑functional projects (e.g. cost reduction, lead time reduction, service level improvement)
  • Lead, coach and develop the supply chain team (planning, logistics, warehousing, procurement), creating clarity on roles, priorities and performance expectations
  • Act as the primary supply chain counterpart for Operations, Sales, Finance and other internal stakeholders, building strong collaboration and joint problem‑solving
  • Any other work that may be required from time to time

 Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CSCP) will be considered an asset
  • At least 7 years of experience in a similar supply chain leadership role within a multinational environment
  • Hands‑on experience across the full endtoend supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution
  • Clear track record in managing cross‑functional supply chain processes within dynamic, fast‑paced environments
  • Solid understanding of workplace Health & Safety standards and compliance practices
  • Exposure to WMS, ERP, and TMS systems and other digital tools (Strong working knowledge of SAP is highly desirable)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent in Greek and proficient in English
