Intellectica is recruiting a Video Producer – Editor (Monteur) on behalf of its client, a leading media organization with a strong footprint across print, digital, and multi-platform content. With an influential portfolio and a clear innovation agenda, the company is evolving into a modern, tech-enabled media group, delivering premium content and high-impact advertising solutions. Based in Athens, the successful candidate will support the company’s digital output by filming simple studio videos and producing fast, clean edits — ensuring reliable, on-time delivery for the website, social media, and other platforms.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- A) Studio filming (capture)
- Film studio-based content (interviews, explainers, short segments) using the company’s standard setup.
- Ensure clean audio, stable framing, and consistent basic lighting (using pre-set configurations).
- Prepare the studio for shoots using simple checklists (mic checks, battery/cards, framing presets).
- B) Editing & cutdowns (delivery)
- Edit clean long versions plus cutdowns per shoot.
- Add subtitles/captions and basic lower-thirds.
- Export publish-ready files with correct naming/versioning and deliver on agreed deadlines.
- C) Operational hygiene (basic asset management)
- Maintain organized folders, file naming, and version control for your deliverables.
- Keep a simple delivery log (date, topic, versions delivered).
- D) Team coordination
- Work with the Video/Shorts lead (or assigned editor/producer) on priorities and required outputs.
- Coordinate with Platforms/Social for format requirements and deadlines (without owning posting).
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- 3+ years experience filming and editing video (studio, podcast, broadcast, or digital content environment).
- Comfortable with at least one professional editing tool (e.g. Premiere / DaVinci / Final Cut) and correct export settings.
- Solid fundamentals in audio capture (lav mic/boom basics) and clean, repeatable delivery standards.
- Experience with After Effects / Cap cut is considered a plus
- Fluency in Greek; working English a plus.
