Intellectica is recruiting a results-oriented Business Consultant Manager on behalf of a leading advisory firm specialising in business growth and strategic development for private sector companies. Based in Athens, Greece, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading complex consulting projects, managing high-performing teams, and shaping strategies that deliver measurable impact for clients while contributing to the firm’s long-term growth objectives.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading the design and development of comprehensive business plans, feasibility studies, and financial strategies that align with client objectives and market conditions
- Overseeing the implementation of multiple projects by monitoring progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring deliverables meet agreed timelines and quality standards
- Providing strategic advice and actionable insights to senior client stakeholders by analysing data, identifying opportunities, and presenting clear recommendations
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and optimising funding opportunities by supervising the preparation and review of applications for ESPA, Development Law, and RRF programs
- Representing the company in high-level client meetings and stakeholder engagements by building trust, negotiating effectively, and maintaining strong long-term relationships
- Contributing to organizational strategy by collaborating with senior leadership to refine service offerings, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen market positioning
- Driving business development initiatives by identifying new market opportunities, evaluating potential partnerships, and assessing ROI to support company growth
- Managing and mentoring consulting teams by setting performance goals, fostering collaboration, and ensuring professional growth and high-quality output
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Economics, or related field; a Master’s degree will be considered an advantage
- At least 7 years of experience in management consulting and/or EU funding programs, including a minimum of three years in a senior leadership or project management capacity
- Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of ESPA, Development Law, and RRF funding frameworks
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects within consulting or advisory environments
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with ERPs will be considered a plus
- Fluent in Greek and English
