Intellectica is recruiting a dynamic and highly motivated Chief Product Officer on behalf of a prominent renewable energy company with a remarkable global presence in the solar industry. With manufacturing facilities in France and China and headquarters in Athens, Greece, the company is committed to driving innovation and sustainability in the renewable energy sector. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting to the executive team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the company’s product development efforts by driving innovation.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing specialized, solar PV engineering expertise to support colleagues, clients, and partners
- Reviewing and producing data sheets, engineering designs, models, and performance data, offering engineering support throughout the manufacturing and construction process
- Leading the engineering, design, and timely delivery of solar photovoltaic systems within budget
- Directing and coordinating product development tests and activities by overseeing the design, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of electrical components
- Upholding design requirements, staying abreast of standards, design procedures, methods, and processes to enhance the efficiency of project development and the project selection process
- Managing warranty replacements and expediting them when necessary
- Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the renewable energy sector
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within Solar industry
- Strong knowledge of photovoltaic panels
- Knowledge of repair, maintenance, and installation techniques for photovoltaic equipment
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Flexibility and ability to travel internationally as needed
