Intellectica is recruiting a meticulous Documentation & Certification Engineer on behalf of a Group of companies, with more than 20 years’ experience in the generation and supply of electricity from Renewable Energy sources and production of Electric Vehicle (EV) Chargers and Wind Turbines. Based in the production plant of the company in Attiki, Greece and reporting directly to the R&D Manager, the candidate’s primary goal is to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, as well as manage the documentation and certification processes for the company’s energy products and systems.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

Compliance:

  • Driving standardization efforts for various regions, ensuring the products and processes meet regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Conducting pre-compliance testing and develop strategic plans to achieve compliance goals
  • Overviewing compliance testing activities, analyzing results, and identifying areas for improvement
  • Proactively addressing product-related issues, identified during compliance testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement necessary changes
  • Managing projects related to compliance, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with certifying bodies to streamline certification processes

Documentation:

  • Developing and enhancing documentation schemes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with industry best practices
  • Creating and maintaining control schemes documentation, outlining procedures and guidelines for efficient operations
  • Preparing comprehensive product documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and installation guides, to support customers and internal stakeholders
  • Creating nomenclature for diagrams, enhancing clarity and ease of understanding
  • Tracking and managing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to ensure all documentation reflects the latest revisions
  • Implementing version control measures to maintain document integrity and facilitate effective collaboration across teams

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar position
  • Experience in EMC, Safety, Radio interference
  • Experience with documentation and industrial environment
  • Fluent in Greek and English (verbal & written)
