Intellectica is recruiting an experienced HR Manager on behalf of a leading agricultural and food products company. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting directly to the General Manager of the company, the successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment and implementing effective HR strategies supporting the organization’s continued growth and evolving business objectives.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating the organization’s HR-related Policies & Procedures, and aligning them with the company’s mission, vision, values, and regulatory requirements
- Dealing with organizational charts, grading, and organizational changes, designing career and succession plans
- Leading the formation of detailed job descriptions, outlining critical professional and qualitative skills
- Managing employee relations, fostering the adoption of the company’s culture and values
- Managing the recruitment and selection process by conducting interviews and making hiring decisions
- Creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to quantify Human Resource Performance
- Designing and supervising the implementation of performance appraisals to drive employee development and engagement
- Collaborating with Managers and Directors to craft and implement relevant training programs
- Managing compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, benefits enrollment, and performance-based incentives by recommending possible adjustments
- Staying up to date on employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance
- Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and/or related certifications are considered a plus
- At least 8 years of experience in human resource management, including 3 years of experience in leadership roles
- Proven track record in setting up HR departments
- Strong knowledge of Greek labor laws and regulations
- Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal)
