Intellectica is recruiting an experienced Sales Manager on behalf of a SaaS Energy & ESG Management company. The company provides a sustainability management platform for continuous improvement and reporting of energy and environmental-related key performance indicators. Based in Athens, Greece, the successful candidate will be responsible to manage sales operations and drive growth. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Sales Manager will play a key role in the company’s overall success.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Identifying, qualifying leads, and taking deals across the finish line
  • Managing relationships with key customers, providing exceptional service addressing their needs promptly and identifying up-sell & cross sell opportunities
  • Analyzing RFPs from public and private organizations, understanding the requirements and driving the team to create and submit the best possible proposal
  • Devising the company’s sales strategy in order to ensure that the Company’s product / service is appropriately demonstrated throughout the customer prospecting process
  • Writing quotations to be sent to prospective clients for the implementation of pilot projects customized to their business needs
  • Conducting ongoing market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, emerging trends, new technologies and competitive threats
  • Monitoring sales performance metrics, analyzing results, and identifying areas for improvement or optimization
  • Any other task required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics-related subject
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales; experience in a SaaS Company would be a big plus
  • Energy/facility management industry knowledge is considered a plus
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products / services and position them against competitors
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Track record of results in strategy, management, and execution
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
  • Fluent in Greek and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally across the EMEA region
