Intellectica is recruiting an experienced Human Resources Manager on behalf of an internationally recognized Group of Companies present in the Aerospace, Defense, Security and High Technology markets. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting directly to the Chief Administration Officer, the successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment and implementing effective HR strategies to support the overall business objectives of the Group.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating the organization’s HR-related Policies & Procedures, and aligning them with the Group’s mission, vision, values, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring the implementation of HR Policies by all staff, and fostering the adoption of the Group’s culture and values
  • Managing and bridging management-employee relations, as well as relations between employees by addressing claims, complaints, disputes, or other issues that may arise
  • Overseeing and managing the recruitment and selection process by conducting interviews and making hiring decisions
  • Advising and supporting managers and supervisors on staffing and performance management
  • Implementing performance management systems to drive employee development and engagement
  • Managing compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, benefits enrollment, and performance-based incentives by recommending possible adjustments
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver HR training programs
  • Coordinating and actively participating in the organization of corporate & social responsibility events
  • Staying up to date on employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance (strict adherence to GDPR)
  • Collaborating closely with the external Payroll provider to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources Management is considered a plus
  • At least 7 years of experience in a similar HR managerial position
  • Excellent knowledge of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits
  • In-depth knowledge of Labor & Employment Law
  • Experience in payroll processing
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal)
